Tax Information The town operates on a fiscal year from July 1 to June 30. The current mil rate is: 11.70 per $1,000 of value Real estate/personal property taxes: Taxes can be paid in full upon receipt of bill or in two installments. Per the Town Charter tax bills are mailed in August and a reminder post card is sent in February. The first half payment is due in October and second half payment is due in April. Time certain set annually by the Board of Selectmen. Interest is charged on the unpaid balance beginning the day after those dates. Please have your bill(s) or account number(s) with your payment to ensure proper credit to your account. We welcome partial payments on all accounts after receipt of your bill in August.

Voter Registration New Lincolnville residents can register to vote any time in the Town Office, as well as on election days. Proof of residency is required at the time of registration.
Transfer Station Stickers & Pay-As-You Throw Household Waste Bags Transfer stickers must be displayed on the front driver's side of vehicle windshield, and can be purchased at the Transfer Station or at the Town Offices by residents of Lincolnville, Hope, Camden, or Rockport by showing your Maine car/truck registration. Pay-As-You-Throw Household waste bags and can be purchased at the above locations or at some participating area stores. The bags are sold in packages of: five 33 gallon bags for $7.50 or ten 20 gallon bags for $9.00. Informational brochures are available at the Transfer Station or the Lincolnville, Hope, Camden, or Rockport Town Offices.
