Tax Collector - Lincolnville, Maine

The Tax Collector, appointed by the Board of Selectmen, has the responsibility of collecting taxes lawfully assessed within the Town of Lincolnville. In addition to mailing real estate and personal property tax bills, processing payments,administering the tax lien procedure for unpaid real estate taxes and small claims court for unpaid personal property taxes, the Tax Collector is also responsible for collecting excise tax on vehicles and boats.
