The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) is currently working on preliminary engineering for Highway Improvement Projects on Route 1 in the Town of Lincolnville.  The purpose and need of these projects are Highway Safety and Spot improvements on Route 1.  There are two projects:

State Project Number: 028628.00 - This project begins at the Camden town line and extends north 2.38 miles (to Route 173/the Beach Road).

State Project Number 028630.00 - This project begins at Carver Lane and extends northeast 1.99 miles (ends in the Town of Northport).

Preliminary virtual public meetings for these projects will be scheduled by MaineDOT as soon as the existing conditions surveys are completed.  Notice of these meetings will be sent by MaineDOT to impacted property owners and advertised in local newspapers.
